TARPON FISHING IN FLORIDA
Southwest Florida is known worldwide as the Tarpon capitol of the world. We’re excited to hook up with local kayak fishing and fly fishing pro, Greg Bowdish (www.kayak-fish-florida.com), and to be staying at the Sun and Moon Inn—one of the coolest fishing lodges around (www.sunandmoon.net). It’s also the only kayak fishing lodge in the area. The Sun and Moon Inn is run by Curt Peer—one of the nicest guys you’ve ever met. The Inn sits on the water right at the mouth of an amazing mangrove maze, but also has immediate access to endless flats and world class Redfish, Snook, and Tarpon fishing.

MARLIN, ROOSTERFISH AND TUNA FISHING IN BAJA
Known to anglers around the world as the Roosterfish capital of the world, the lower end of the East Cape of Baja is our destination. The waters of the Sea of Cortez provide some of the most fantastic big game sport fishing in the world, and no one knows the area better than Jim Sammons, who runs guided kayak fishing trips here numerous times each year (www.kayak4fish.com). While down there, we’ll be staying at the stunning Hotel Punta Colorada, which sits perched above the surf overlooking the Sea (www.vanwormerresorts.com/puntacolorada.htm).

STRIPER FISHING IN CHESAPEAKE BAY
On the hunt for big fish on the eastern seaboard, we’ll be connecting with Kevin Whitley, more commonly known as Kayak Kevin (www.kayakkevin.com). Kevin is one of the most successful and passionate kayak anglers you’ll find and regularly takes extended vacation time to embark on serious kayak fishing trips. In 2005, Kayak Kevin completed a solo, 1,800 mile kayak fishing odyssey from Big Lagoon State Park in Pensacola, Florida to Norfolk, Virginia. Most recently, Kevin undertook a 2 week, 200 mile journey around Chesapeake Bay.

FRESHWATER FISHING ON THE OTTAWA RIVER
The majority of kayak anglers have had their fishing impacted greatly by their discovery of the kayak, but freshwater anglers Brendan Mark and Ken Whiting are dedicated kayak anglers whose kayaking has been transformed by their discovery of fishing. In fact, both Brendan and Ken are World Champion whitewater kayakers. Their expert kayaking skills lets them challenge some of the largest whitewater in the world and get to fishing holes that have likely never seen a lure before.

MUSKIE HUNTING IN ONTARIO
Considered by many to be the meanest freshwater fish on the planet, it was an easy decision to target Muskie for the film. We hooked up with Muskie hunter extraordinaire, Jamie Pistilli (www.thefishingconsultant.com) to get the job done. Jamie has caught more Muskie from a kayak than anyone, and probably still enjoys doing it more than anyone too.
